THE FIRST STEPS OF THE MISSIONARY PROJECT IN BOLIVIA

I arrived in Santa Cruz de la Sierra in 2007 and as soon as I set foot in this city I started to pray for a job target. I always learned that we must think of a target before going to the mission field, but our life was so fast, God spoke to us so quickly that we simply sold everything we had in Paraguay and came to Bolivia
In Paraguay I worked with my brother-in-law Ebenezer with literatures. My brother-in-law had the aim of attending schools that were close to the road from the northeast of Paraguay to the south of Paraguay. It also aimed to serve the northern region, reaching Bolivia. We praise the Lord that this goal has been achieved.
So, as I was already living in Bolivia, I thought about continuing the evangelistic goal of southern Bolivia (north of Paraguay) towards the city of La Paz. The problem is that we could not continue with the target of schools, because the school system close to the roads we don’t find here in Bolivia, but in every city the fairs and markets have a lot of people. Thus, we aimed to reach fairs and markets from Yacuiba, in the south of Bolivia, to the city of La Laz, on the border with Peru.
It is true that God had much more for our plans. This target was just the beginning, the tip of everything that God was beginning to do. But I’m happy to have recorded a video where I show a little of this beginning. And I behave with you this very special moment of our lives as a missionary here in Bolivia.

Mission trip to Bolivia July 2025

  EVANGELISTIC SUPPORT PROGRAM In this post I would like to present our journey from Paraguay to the places we intend to visit in Bolivia where we have active Support Points. As you can see on the map below, our goal is to leave the border region of Brazil with Paraguay, in the city of Pedro Juan Caballero, to the border with Bolivia. This is a journey of 680 kilometers. It usually takes 12 to 15 hours to travel. It all depends on the condition of the road. In the border region, in the city of Corumbá, I will carry out the migration processes and will also be where the pamphlets for evangelization in Bolivia will be. The goal is to send them by mail from the border to the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. I will go with my wife and son, who will stay in the border region to process some documentation. I have relatives in Corumbá who give us a lot of support for the missionary work we do. So, while my wife stays on the border between Brazil and Bolivia, I intend to continue traveling...

Evangelism in Paraguay

  The good news we have is that we got a port to equip the Support Point in Ciudad del Este in Paraguay. The likelihood is that we will receive 1500 kilos of printed materials initially in Paraguay, so we won't need to bring the evangelistic materials from Brazil. I believe that soon I will be giving more information about the evangelistic work in Paraguay. We maintain the target of having Support Points in each country in South America.
