HOW TO USE GOSPEL TRACTS

In the Great Commission, Jesus Christ commanded us to, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”  (Mark 16:15) We should actively work to share the gospel with others. Pastors and evangelists play a special role by public preaching, but every Christian shares the responsibility for evangelism. We can share the gospel through one-on-one witnessing conversations, home Bible studies, and many other ways. Today, let’s talk about how to use one helpful witnessing tool—gospel tracts.
1 – Booklets with the Gospel message
Not all gospel tracts are created equal. The best gospel tracts explain man’s sin, the penalty for sin, and Christ’s substitutionary death. Be sure to get tracts that explain the gospel clearly.
2 – Give out tracts to people you encounter in daily life.
You can give them to cashiers, waitresses, doctors, or people at the local coffee shop.
You can hand out tracts at public events—fairs, parades, and festivals.
You can also use tracts as an opening to share your faith. Some tracts are specially designed for this. Living Waters Publications has designed excellent illusion tracts, million dollar bills, IQ tests, surveys, and more.
Ask people, “Did you get one of these?” and hand them a tract.
You can give clerks a tract and say, “This will break your boredom.”
When you check out at a store, say, “Thank you! This is for you,” and give the cashier a tract.
You can also say, “Here’s something for you to read later.”
Gospel tracts are an excellent tool that we can use for soulwinning. If you haven’t given out a gospel tract before, ask God to give you the boldness and compassion to start today. God promised that His Word will bear fruit—whether in spoken word or in printed form!
