Free evangelistic material
A few years ago we started delivering printed materials for evangelism to brothers who requested it. The Lord Jesus spoke to us very strongly and in different ways about this work, but I was always left with a question: “Do people value it when we deliver without charging anything?”
Then the Lord Jesus showed me how blessed he is to be in evangelism constantly and someone fighting for me so that I have the material in hand. I was focused on taking the Word to the people and when I was finished I communicated to the brothers who had the evangelistic materials and quickly those boxes were in my house
Honestly, I never stopped to think how much it cost to bring all that material and put it in my hands. I just wanted the materials and when I arrived I would take them as quickly as possible to the places that the Spirit of God was pushing me.
Well, I had that experience, but the Lord Jesus made me meet in Santa Cruz de la Sierra some evangelists who did extraordinary things to get the materials. I remember a sister who took clothes every Saturday and with the money she bought evangelistic materials. Brother Russell and his wife took several days fasting and with the money that should have been for food they bought printed materials for evangelism.
Brother Nigel Mercado sold juice at fairs and with the money from the sale he bought leaflets for evangelism. This is why Nigel Mercado traveled almost 500 kilometers from Cochabamba to Santa Cruz de la Sierra to receive 5 boxes with WMPRESS booklets and some Interlink Brasil brochures. When the material was finished Nigel again took the bus in Cochabamba, he traveled the almost 500 kilometers to get 5 more boxes. On the day I said I would give 50 boxes he almost cried with joy
Well, today Nigel Mercado coordinates the Support Points inside Bolivia and in 2022 three containers arrived with printed materials for work in Bolivia, the border region with Argentina and the advancement of the Evangelistic Support Program to Peru through the southern region. Brother Nigel Mercado is responsible for the general coordination of the project
What lesson did I learn? God has good workers and laboring hands. Today I see myself developing the work of identifying these two classes of evangelists, the bad evangelists and the good evangelists. And certainly the work goes very well when we work with the good evangelists.
pray for us
