Missionary project maintained with gold dust and precious stones
In the year 2006 I got in touch with a missionary agency in the United States. I presented my work project and what God had put in my heart to do in the mission field. Well, they helped me sporadically for a few months, but they didn't make any promises to support the project.
I was in need of support and again I tried to talk to the leadership and the answer I got was that they couldn't support me because I didn't have the capacity to be a missionary.
I was very sad with that answer, but at the same time I remembered that I was on the mission field because the Lord Jesus had called me. Yes, I left everything I was doing, I left my plans, personal goals because the Lord Jesus called me. My God had called the work of missions and not a man, so again I strengthened myself with the Word given by the Spirit of God
Then. in 2007 I left the border between Brazil and Bolivia and went to the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. I had no support from anyone and used the money from the goods I had sold. I sold my car, my furniture and many other things and with that money I went on missions in Bolivia.
I arrived in Bolivia without the support of mission agencies or a big church, but I had the Word of God with me. One day I went to a church and the pastor came to talk to me. He told me: "The Lord Jesus tells you to say that you came here for the Word and you won't lack for anything"
Dear brother, we have been working in Bolivia for 15 years and we have never lacked for anything. Yes, we faced many barriers, many difficulties, but we didn't lack for anything. The Evangelistic Support Program had a very big expansion in Bolivia and God continued to be our provider.
One day, I went to visit a missionary base and there were some missionaries from Brazil. The Spirit of God used a lady missionary and that woman told me: "The work you are doing will continue, you will make the Word reach places where your feet will never step. Don't worry about the money to keep, because the Lord Jesus puts the resources in your hands like gold dust"
A week later I was at my house and a pastor came to receive materials for evangelism. I gave the boxes of printed materials for evangelism and he asked to pray. During the prayer that pastor told me: "The work you are doing will continue, you will make the Word reach places where your feet will never step. Don't worry about the money to keep, because the Lord Jesus puts the resources in your hands like precious stones"
At the time I didn't understand, but later the Lord Jesus told me what gold dust and precious stones would be. Gold dust means the participation of those who have love for the work, those who wish to see souls being reached and support with a true heart before the Lord Jesus. They are not people who send their offers because it will be deducted from the tax or send them out of obligation to maintain an institution. No, gold dust is the participatory offering free of any other interest than really wanting to participate in the work that is the Lord Jesus and the desire to see souls being reached with the gospel.
Precious stones are the miracles that the Lord Jesus does to support this missionary work. In 2007 I was struggling to take half a ton of printed material to Bolivia. I really didn't have the money to pay the bus tickets to go to the border and bring the materials. Today we received containers with almost 20 tons of printed materials for the evangelistic service.
In addition to serving Bolivia, we are now expanding to Paraguay, Peru and fighting hard for Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil itself. How do we maintain it all? How can I make all this work? In addition to the powdered gold that the Lord Jesus puts in our hands, God also gives us precious stones, miracles of maintenance so that the work that is HIS is maintained
