  EVANGELISTIC SUPPORT PROGRAM In this post I would like to present our journey from Paraguay to the places we intend to visit in Bolivia where we have active Support Points. As you can see on the map below, our goal is to leave the border region of Brazil with Paraguay, in the city of Pedro Juan Caballero, to the border with Bolivia. This is a journey of 680 kilometers. It usually takes 12 to 15 hours to travel. It all depends on the condition of the road. In the border region, in the city of Corumbá, I will carry out the migration processes and will also be where the pamphlets for evangelization in Bolivia will be. The goal is to send them by mail from the border to the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. I will go with my wife and son, who will stay in the border region to process some documentation.   Evangelistic Support Program Below I leave a photo of the brothers preparing the boxes to send from Santa Cruz de la Sierra to the various Support Points within Bolivia. We currently have 12 Support Points in Bolivia. Each Support Point has dozens of registered evangelists who go to hospitals, prisons, preach in squares, open-air markets and other places. The place you see above is a warehouse for a car mechanic and the local leader provides the location free of charge for storage and later redirecting to the Support Points. To get the materials to the Support Points we rely on the help of many volunteers who work in transportation, others help financially to pay for shipping and our main goal is to get the materials into the hands of the evangelists without generating costs for the evangelists. The political and economic crisis is not easy, making it difficult for our brothers to get fuel to transport the materials. Freight costs have also increased significantly due to the lack of fuel, so our work of getting the materials to the Support Points is not easy at all. But our God is powerful to act and open a door.   Evangelistic Support Program I am writing to inform you that another 20-foot container has arrived in Bolivia. It contains 10 tons of printed evangelistic materials in Spanish, Quechua and Aymara to support the evangelists in Bolivia free of charge. Yesterday, the brother who is responsible for the import process in Bolivia sent me a message informing me that the material has already been unloaded in the Pailon colony. We are very happy about all this, because we have been without materials for our work for several months. Today I will inform the evangelists in Bolivia about the arrival of the container.   Evangelistic Support Program Sometimes people ask us why we haven’t done more for the northern region of Brazil, since it is a region that needs the Word of God so much. Well, I’m going to tell you about some of the obstacles we’ve faced, and I believe you’ll come to an understanding. If you look closely at the left of the map, you’ll see a place called Acre. This is a Brazilian state that borders Bolivia and Peru. The first obstacle was getting $1,000 to pay for the plane ticket and local costs so I could organize the arrival of the materials. After working hard to get $1,000, the second obstacle was getting $3,000 to pay for the shipping of two and a half tons of materials. The materials were in São Paulo, and our materials needed to travel almost 4,000 kilometers to the border region with Bolivia.   Evangelistic Support Program Brother Juan Maceda is our Support Point coordinator in the city of La Paz. We currently send a large amount of printed material for evangelism and our beloved brother Juan Maceda supports evangelists in the city of La Paz, El Alto and the border region with Peru.
