It was getting late and I went to see if there was milk for Deborah. When I opened the can I saw that there was no more milk left. The worst thing was that he didn't have any money anymore and he didn't even expect to receive it from anywhere. I was looking at that side and I told the Lord at that moment that the provision had already been sent, I knew it had already, but whoever had the provision was withholding. This was the trust that came to my heart. In reality, it was the Lord speaking to my heart. It's situations like this that bring your faith down. Someone might say no, and it really isn't meant to get you down, but it gets you down. When God does so many wonders in his favor, when you move in trust and one fine day you find yourself with no way out. Before coming to the mission field many times in your work, that safe money, job and etc, and now you don't have any of that and I depend on God's move and the time of need comes. You say: God, help me! But...

I was completely helpless. I had no money for anything and didn't know what to do. I went on the internet and sent an email to my father asking for 200 reais to borrow. I felt so bad about it, not because I asked for my father's money, but because I felt so unable to do anything. If God sent me, where is providence? This was the voice that screamed inside me. Moments like these you get very distressed. The problem is that the 200 reais was useless, because there was late water, late electricity, no merchandise in the kitchen and rent due. A complete package and 200 reais is not enough. When I sent the message my father said that the next day he would send the money. It was already about 21:00 (BO). Really, just a transfer for me to take at that moment, but I gave my father peace of mind so he wouldn't be worried.  We arrived in Quijarro, a border town in Bolivia. In Brazil, just 4 kilometers away we have the city of Corumbá. In Quijarro we stayed in the house of Pastor Roberto Peralta of the Quadrandular Church. We were very well received and it was a great help to find Pastor Roberto and to have all that support. We started looking for a house in Quijarro. We went back and forth and it seemed impossible to find a house to rent. The rents were expensive and the houses were not good. At one point Mina tells me that God has opened doors when we pray and we haven't prayed yet. There inside the car we prayed and presented our house. As we had already seen several houses, we at least knew what he didn't want for us. We decided to look for it in Puerto Suarez, a neighboring town 12 kilometers from the border, because in Quijarro it was very difficult. God gave us a nice house, with trees around it, an airy kitchen and a cool living room. We thought of this because the region is very hot. From...
