A few days ago we sent another shipment of material to the city of La Paz, Bolivia.  I edited a video of my trip to the state of Bahia, Brazil, with the aim of starting a Support Point in that region. Watch and pray for the development of evangelistic work in Brazil. I also want to say that we are having a lot of difficulty with the involvement of churches in this project in Brazil. This is a reality that I already knew I would encounter, as churches usually do not invest in evangelism. We have churches and missions from the United States and Canada participating in the work, but few churches from Brazil. It's sad, but we're not going to stop. The aim is to reach lives with the Word of God and we will continue pray for us

The state of Piauí is one of the neediest states in Brazil. According to government information, it is the poorest Brazilian state and it is the Brazilian state where the growth of evangelical churches has been the lowest. This is why we work in this state and bring the written Word of God to this region. Well, we made the decision to move the Ponto de Apoio from the city of Corrente, which is located in the south of Piauí, to the city of Teresina. The reason for the change is that Teresina is the capital, we have better ways of distributing printed material and also God has given us a great contact with an evangelist who has done a brilliant evangelistic work in the region Thus, the next shipments of materials will be sent to Teresina and no longer to Corrente. In 2021 we started the work to support evangelists in the northern region of Bolivia. Our strategic location was the city of Cobija in the department of Pando. From this region we could also serve the northern Brazilian region of the state of Acre Well, after a year of work we didn't have much results. The objective was to advance to enter Peru through the southern region and we did not achieve this objective. Another goal was to get in touch with active evangelists and we didn't have that goal either. Evangelistic work was carried out in the region. Our support point leader mobilized churches, sent the materials to various regions in need and we even managed to send a good amount of material to Peru, but we were unable to move forward with the project I keep praying for this region, but I have learned that we can only move forward with the doors opened by the Lord Jesus.   In the year 2006 I got in touch with a missionary agency in the United States. I presented my work project and what God had put in my heart to do in the mission field. Well, they helped me sporadically for a few months, but they didn't make any promises to support the project. I was in need of support and again I tried to talk to the leadership and the answer I got was that they couldn't support me because I didn't have the capacity to be a missionary. I was very sad with that answer, but at the same time I remembered that I was on the mission field because the Lord Jesus had called me. Yes, I left everything I was doing, I left my plans, personal goals because the Lord Jesus called me. My God had called the work of missions and not a man, so again I strengthened myself with the Word given by the Spirit of God Then. in 2007 I left the border between Brazil and Bolivia and went to the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.  Today I was talking to the Next Generation brothers about the possibility of entering Brazil with a greater amount of material and expanding the Support Points in Brazilian territory. I want to remind the brothers that Brazil is 48% of South America and we need to have a broad vision to develop the evangelistic support service within Brazil.   I want to thank you for praying for the Evangelistic Support Program missionary project. We need to keep moving forward with the work throughout Latin America. I receive hundreds of photos from evangelism groups that receive free printed materials for service evangelism. In the photo above we have a group that we support by taking the Word of God to the people who are in the squares of the city of La Paz. The evangelistic work is done in the evening and the brothers give free booklets with the Word of God and pray for the people. Many lives are touched in activities like these.  We praise God for those who support the project with the children. There are currently 58 children and teenagers to feed each day. On the day we were at the Mission for Compassion base, we received a donation of more than 300 kilos of beef to feed the children.  We are experiencing civic shutdowns in both Brazil and Bolivia. In Bolivia the reason is because of the census that the government should carry out. According to census data, the resource is distributed to regions in Bolivia.  Thus, the Bolivian socialist government does not intend to carry out the census so that there is no equal distribution of resources. EVANGELISTIC SUPPORT PROGRAM Today I received information from the brothers who are leading our Support Point in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra that they are sending another shipment of printed material to Cochabamba.  The evangelistic materials will be shared between Cochabamba and Oruro, according to information from Brother Nigel Mercado who coordinates the work of local support. Well, this work is done steadily. As long as we have materials in the warehouse in the city of Pailon, we will direct them to the Support Points and, in this way, it reaches the evangelists. I each post I like to leave a video. Well, this video was recorded in December 2021 when we were organizing a new Support Point in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.   MISSION BY COMPASSION Once again I am here talking about the work done in the Compassionate Mission. Childcare work is ongoing. We praise God for the grassroots leadership who work tirelessly to make the Word of God reach children. As I have already said, we currently have 52 interns at the base. These kids have a place to sleep, breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also have to get clothes and everything needed to keep each inner child at the base. In addition to caring for the inmates, we maintain the target of reaching the children who live close to the base. The gospel must also reach these children. EVANGELISTIC SUPPORT PROGRAM Since 2016 we started with a project called Knowing more Missions. Our aim is to convey the experience of missions, what the life of a missionary is like, how we started a missions project, how we maintain a missionary work and many other subjects. We have been using emails, our blog in Portuguese (the biggest audience is Portuguese speaking people, whether from Brazil or Africa) and we have also been working a lot with videos.   MISSION BY COMPASSION In the photo above you can see some young people who work in the pig farm that was created to help support the expenses of the mission base. A group of young people who live at the base are in charge of taking care of the pigs. When the time for slaughter arrives, the pigs are sold to the communities that live nearby. One of the biggest buyers are the brothers from the Mennonite colony who help the project a lot and also help by buying the pigs that are raised at the base. The money goes mainly towards general maintenance of base expenses.

 You can help spread the word about the work we do. We are developing several areas of activity in the mission field through the Siloam Mission and if you help us to spread new supporters you can be part of this service. We need participants for the Evangelistic Support Program. Travel, freight, documentation and so many other expenses need to be paid. When we have a participant helping in one area of ​​the process, our load is lessened and we can focus on areas that still need our presence. At the moment we are having great difficulty in the cost of tickets to serve the Support Points within Brazil and other countries. We need participants for the grassroots needs of the Siloam Mission. Do you know what the Participation Program is? Well, today I'm going to talk about the Participation Program, but I want to start by telling you how it all started. In 2010 we were still in Bolivia and the Evangelistic Support Program was growing rapidly. Each month we identify more active evangelists and the Lord Jesus has opened new doors for us to receive printed materials for evangelism. My problem was that my money was not enough to maintain the project. Honestly speaking, I didn't even have money to maintain my house and every ton of print that arrived I needed a miracle from God to mobilize all those boxes. We receive tons of printed materials from various missions working around the world, but we haven't received a single dollar for shipping. The problem I had was convincing the church leadership to help the project financially, as they didn't believe we would receive so many tons of printed materials for evangelism and we wouldn't get paid to do the work.
